Michael has always loved music.  When he was a baby, music was the only relief for his teething pain.  At age 2, he discovered the “Hallelujah Chorus” and loved it.  He began playing the piano at age 5 and composing music around age 8.  Around that same time he joined the church’s student handbell choir.  Finally, he added organ to his instrument list.  He enjoys a variety of music from classical to movie themes to hymns to contemporary Christian. He has experience accompanying musical theater and choirs as well as directing vocal and handbell choirs.  One of his favorite activities is playing "oldies" (70s music) as a volunteer pianist at the Charlotte airport.
